We also recognize the family unit, and support is offered to family caregivers that includes counseling and education.

A registered nurse is always on call, 24 hours, to answer questions and to provide assistance and support when needed. We will provide care to every eligible patient in our service area, regardless of medical conditions, lifestyle, religious, cultural or ethnic background. We believe all patients who are eligible for hospice should receive hospice. After all this is the time When Life Matters Most....

Hospice RN

• Provides nursing care in homes or in nursing homes of acutely or terminally ill patients Diploma or A.D. in Nursing required, yet prefer B.S. in Nursing.

• One year general nursing experience required. o Desire Hospice, Home Care, medical surgical or critical care experience.

• Provides high quality, safe nursing care as ordered by the physician.

• Provides timely and accurate documentation within the specified time frame.

• Implements appropriate nursing practice, following Hospice policies and procedures.

• Uses supplies, equipment or other resources effectively and efficiently.

• Maintains knowledge of current practice.

• One year of hospice care experience preferred.

• Qualified candidates must have current license and driver’s license.
