Duties: |
Provide supportive care to patients and families experiencing life limiting illnesses. Intervene to maximize patient's comfort and enhance quality of life through provision of personal care, emotional support, and specified nursing procedures. Reports to the Hospice House RN any change in condition of the patient or family.
Shift available: 7a-7p (4 shifts per month required)
Location: Sun City Center
Good driving record and auto insurance (minimum of 10/20/10) are required for hire. |
Qualifications: |
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant program.
Current Florida CNA certification required
Ability to communicate in English
Minimum of one year experience required.
Valid Florida driver's license, good driving record and automobile insurance are required.
Ability to manage the emotional stress of working with and caring for terminally ill patients and their families.
Ability to perform the essential functions and physical requirements (including, but not limited to: lifting patients and/or equipment, bending, pushing/pulling, kneeling) of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. |
