Glacier Hills acclaimed Care and Rehabilitation Center has been providing outstanding care and person-centered care to our 161 residents for more than 35 years. We provide Sub-Acute, Long Term care, Medicare and Memory Care for older adults and are looking for compassionate and caring Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA's) to join our health care team.
Full-time CNA positions available for days and afternoon shifts. All shifts are 7.5 hours of paid time. We also provide fixed two week schedules to help balance work/life. Alternate weekends are required. Our patient ratios are excellent!

Duties: |
Provide person-centered nursing care to assigned residents under the direction and supervision of the RN or LPN.
Assists with or performs basic nursing care needs, transporting of residents, etc. as directed by the nurse.
Responsible for obtaining, maintaining, cleaning, and returning supplies and equipment on the nursing unit.
Responsible for the completion of assignments, records, and forms as required by work assignment.
Assists and/or performs dressing, bathing, feeding, lifting, and infection control procedures with residents.
Maintains feeding food acceptance records (F.A.R.), and Activities of Daily Living (A.D.L.) documentation sheets.
Performs and documents vital signs and weights. |
Qualifications: |
Current State of Michigan certification required.
Previous experience in long term care or short-term rehabilitation is preferred.
Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and staff.
