Description:

The Director of DME Operations works with DME Branch Management to manage costs in order to meet or exceed contribution margins through standardization of processes, regionalizing and/or centralizing functions where it makes sense philosophically, financially and operationally; maximizing the use of technology; developing and implementing strategies for managing branch costs such as productivity, mileage, etc.  Additionally, the Director of DME Operations serves as a liaison between Branch Management and AHC support functions (HR, IT, Finance, Marketing, etc) and HH service lines to promote collaboration in order to maximize revenue, improve operating margins, facilitate initiatives, ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and provide the highest quality paitient care and customer service.

Qualifications:

Must have a four year college and at least five years management experience in DME, preferably in branch operations.  The Director must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven success working with different groups to resolve issues, be an independent thinker and enjoy solving problems.  This person must also be analytical, have knowledge of DME reimbursement and financial issues, and be comfortable with the elements of financial spreadsheets, such as an income statement.
